we are scientists new album

today the new w.a.s. album "brain thrust mastery" dropped.

"brain thrust mastery" is not as queer and wavish as their their major debut "with love and squalor" but still a nice and solid piece of work.late 80´s influences and one step beyond their last album´s postpunk/wave attitude it has some really danceable songs which are more pop than the old recordings. nevertheless...they they are still scientists and we all know that maturation ain´t bad though the sillyness of "with love and squalor" maybe got lost through that.

the only hing that makes me a little sad in an unqueer way is the fact that their drummer left the band in 07 which could be a lost for them livewise.
